3D Printer: Make an appointment
Have a project you'd like us to print? Here's how to get started:
- Check our 3D Printer Use Procedures & Policy.
- Make an appointment to bring your project file to the San Luis Obispo Library Children's department.
This is a DIY project. Please call the Children's department at 805-781-5775 with any questions.
This program was supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
- Your appointment is scheduled from opening until 30 minutes before closing. Late arrivals will need to reschedule.
- Persons wanting to use the 3D printer shall bring their file in a USB drive (in .stl or .obj format)
- Size and time requirements: No larger than 25 MB. Print should be no more than 6” inches wide by 6” inches long by 6” inches in height and a maximum of 4 hours to print.
- One print job per person per week.
- Please come up to the Children's Area on the 2nd floor of the SLO Library.
