The Literacy Connection is excited to announce our English Conversation Club happening every Friday from 10:30am - 12:00pm. All levels are welcome!

This is a friendly, casual environment to:

- Practice speaking English

We meet at the library at noon on the second Friday of every month. Weather permitting, we gather on our beautiful patio. Please come prepared to tell us about your favorite books read this month. Everyone is welcome.

Get connected with primary care, recovery, clothing, food, Medicare, shelter, mental health, showers, health insurance, and more. No appointment needed. 

• Your appointment is scheduled from opening until 30 minutes before closing.

Join us on Fridays for topical documentaries, telenovelas, or television series.

Ages 10-17

Partypooper, the 20th Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book, just came out! To celebrate we're throwing a party for all the wimpy kids out there. Join us for crafts, games, prizes and more!

In this 1-hour lesson students will learn step by step to create a landscape design on rocks. Each participant will get to work on 2 rocks. Feel free to bring additional rocks to experiment on.

Looking for volunteer or community service hours? Join San Luis Obispo Library's Teen Advisory Board! Participation can be listed on job, scholarship and college applications.

Join us for Baby/Toddler storytime! Come read books, sing songs and play! For ages 0 to 3.

The SLO Noor Foundation will have their mobile clinic stationed in the Oceano Library Parking lot for free health care consultations and services from 8:30-3:30. Appointments are strongly suggested.

Special dinosaurs bilingual storytime with Iván. Songs and stories in English and Spanish for the whole family.

A HICAP Counselor will explain Medicare Open Enrollment Changes & Choices for Part D and Medicare Advantage Plans, and answer questions about how it all works!
