Program Description

Event Details

"Fiction Addiction" is a book group for adults that meets the first Saturday of each month.  Bring your own coffee and join in the conversation about a selected work of contemporary fiction.

Register for an email meeting reminder, book list, and discussion questions.

This month, we'll discuss the 2025 Book of the Year selection, Fire in the Canyon: A novel, by Daniel Gumbiner.

An annual countywide literary event in partnership with Cuesta College, the Book of the Year program encourages community members to read together and engage in discussion and programming.

See Book of the Year author Daniel Gumbiner live at the Cuesta College Cultural and Performing Arts Center, San Luis Obispo campus. Gumbiner will discuss his novel Fire in the Canyon--a finalist for the California Book Awards and a New Yorker Best Book of the Year. Book signing to follow. Tickets available for purchase at Tickets.Cuesta.edu
