Need Help Paying for Groceries? We’re Here to Help!
Join us on Wednesday, August 20th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Atascadero Library for a CalFresh Application Assistance Event.
CalFresh is California’s food assistance program that helps individuals and families with low incomes afford the groceries they need to stay healthy and nourished. Approved applicants receive an EBT card—similar to a debit card—that can be used at most grocery stores and farmers' markets.
During this event, you’ll receive free, one-on-one help with your CalFresh application from a friendly team that includes staff from the local Department of Social Services (DSS). We’re here to walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
✅ No appointment needed
✅ Open to the public
✅ Private application support room available
✅ Bilingual assistance offered for Spanish-speaking community members
Whether you’re applying for the first time or need help renewing, we’re here to make it easier. Stop by, get the support you need, and take the first step toward saving money on groceries each month.
