Kids Day at the Library is a monthly event, with a different program or activity each month. K-6th grader can learn from experts, play board games, learn basic coding, and other fun activities.

Would you like to learn to play chess? Would you like to improve your chess strategy and meet other players? Join us on the third Friday of the month from 2:00-4:30. School ages to seniors are welcome.

Join us on Fridays for topical documentaries, telenovelas, or television series. 

Create mazes for these motorized bugs, race them and more! All ages welcome.

Come create a tiny dino-land using succulents and dino accessories! For ages 7 and up. Seats are limited. Registration is required. 

Join us at the Cambria Library every Saturday at 2pm for a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related craft or activity and fun movie! 

All films are rated PG.  

Master your gaming skills and make new friends with our Nintendo Switch! We will provide one Switch for up to 4 players at a time - feel free to bring your own too. Games include Super Mario Smash Bros, Super Mario Party, and Minecraft.

Celebrate the natural world with ocean themed games and crafts! Win small prizes playing loteria del mar, learn about seashore creatures with a matching game, choose an adorable or fearsome sea creature to color, and more.

Join us at the Arroyo Grande Library to practice your reading with our trained therapy dogs.  The dogs will alternate but one will be at the library on select Wednesdays at 3:30.  For ages 4 and up.

Monthly open poetry reading and discussion of published and original poetry.
