The San Luis Obispo Library Book Club is a monthly book group for adults. We read a selection of recent fiction and non-fiction books. Join us the second Tuesday of each month from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in the Conference Room at the library.

Acompañanos para hora de cuentos en español y en inglés, tendrán canciones y bailes.

Kids Day at the Library is a monthly event, with a different program or activity each month. 

In December kids in grades K-6 can create amazing art using chalk of all colors.

The Literacy Connection is excited to announce our English Conversation Club happening every Friday from 10:30am - 12:00pm. All levels are welcome!

This is a friendly, casual environment to:

- Practice speaking English

We meet at the library at noon on the second Friday of every month. Weather permitting, we gather on our beautiful patio. Please come prepared to tell us about your favorite books read this month. Everyone is welcome.

Get connected with primary care, recovery, clothing, food, Medicare, shelter, mental health, showers, health insurance, and more. No appointment needed. 

• Please bring your 3D Project on a flash drive.
• One print job per person per week.
• Please come up to the Children's Area on the 2nd floor of the SLO Library.

Come to the library and write code to control a robot with just markers and paper!

Looking for volunteer or community service hours? Join San Luis Obispo Library's Teen Advisory Board! Participation can be listed on job, scholarship and college applications.

Sign up to reserve your booth at the Children's Craft Fair at the Nipomo Library.  Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to sell their own handmade crafts at the fair.  Use one of our tables and design your own booth to sell your items.

Join us for Baby/Toddler storytime! Come read books, sing songs and play! For ages 0 to 3.

Learn about our Memory Lab. Once you have completed the orientation, you can digitally archive your home VHS movies, photographs, audio cassettes, 8mm film reels, slides, film negatives, and more!
