Art is the heart of the family! Mother-daughter duo, Rone Prinz and Meara McDonald, are exhibiting their work at the Morro Bay Library through the end of September. This family has a legacy of art which they use to share their unique visions on life, beauty, and the world around us.
Rone has 30+ years of experience making and exhibiting her artwork in various shows across the country. She has made the transition from jewelry making to 2D and mixed media art. You can view her collection of watercolor, charcoal, acrylic, and pastels on display now!
Meara is a photographer who has studied at Otis College of Art and Design as well as Minneapolis College of Art & Design. Her work has been published in Shots Magazine and she has received awards for her work in online exhibitions and gallery showings. More recently, Meara was the recipient of the 2024 Silver Award from the reFocus Awards Black and White Photography contest. A self-described "fly on the wall", Meara seeks to capture subtle and fleeting moments in time that make life rich.
