Master your gaming skills and make new friends with our Nintendo Switch! We will provide one Switch for up to 4 players at a time - feel free to bring your own too. Games include Super Mario Smash Bros, Super Mario Party, and Minecraft.

Teens! Come by and enjoy a good old iced matcha with the SLO Library Teen Advisory Board. 

We will have a short workshop on iced matchas, snacks and time to socialize with other teens.

This program will be held in the Teen Area of the San Luis Obispo Library. Light refreshments will be served. Bring a friend! Ages 10-17.

Kids ages 5-11 are invited to engineer, build, and create with Legos. All bricks provided by the library.

Poetry galore! We'll have 3 stations - competitive poetry (think poetry rap battle), black-out poetry, and poetry telephone. Test your writing skills, have fun, and eat some snacks!

Ages 13-18

Try out theater by reading a part in a short play alongside others. Discussion of the play to follow. A fun way to appreciate theater with no audience and no pressure. April's play is Book of Days by Lanford Wilson.
