Kids Day at the Library is a monthly event, with a different program or activity each month. 

The Literacy Connection is excited to announce our English Conversation Club happening every Friday from 10:30am - 12:00pm. All levels are welcome!

This is a friendly, casual environment to:

- Practice speaking English

We meet at the library at noon on the second Friday of every month. Weather permitting, we gather on our beautiful patio. Please come prepared to tell us about your favorite books read this month. Everyone is welcome.

Get connected with primary care, recovery, clothing, food, Medicare, shelter, mental health, showers, health insurance, and more. No appointment needed. 

• Please bring your 3D Project on a flash drive.
• One print job per person per week.
• Please come up to the Children's Area on the 2nd floor of the SLO Library.

Join us on Fridays for topical documentaries, telenovelas, or television series.

Come to the library and play with marbles! Build your own creations and have lots of fun.

Join us for SLO Library Comix Fair 2025--a free, family-friendly event celebrating comics and comic books!

Join us for Baby/Toddler storytime! Come read books, sing songs and play! For ages 0 to 3.

Let your little ones lead the way in this open-ended playtime! Babies and toddlers can use their five senses to explore our play stations. Parents & caregivers: we also have early literacy tips for you!
For ages 0-5.

Free, gently used Halloween costumes will be available for kids and teens at the library! You don't need to bring a costume to participate! Donations of costumes in good condition will be accepted before the event and on the day of.

Join us on the 2nd Saturday of the month for a celebration of reading and the joy of discussing books with others. The booklist can be found as an attachment in this event.

Join us every Saturday to stretch your kid's imagination and go screen free! 

A bilingual storytime with Iván. Songs and stories in English and Spanish for the whole family.

Join Ms. Sallie for a weekly themed storytime that includes movement, songs, fingerplays, and stories. 

Please bring a small blanket or towel.  This storytime will be at Rancho Grande Park.
