Lunch at the Library

Kids (age 0-18) can enjoy a free lunch in the San Miguel Park* every Wednesday at 12pm, PLUS a fun activity starting at 1pm. We'll be on the picnic tables under the shade.

May the force be with you at the library this summer! Join us for an afternoon of trivia, crafts, games and more. Star Wars costumes and t-shirts are encouraged! Be there or be a stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herder.

Join Ms. Sallie for a weekly themed storytime that includes movement, songs, fingerplays, and stories. 

Please bring a small blanket or towel.

Join us for a family friendly magic show with Shawn McMaster! All ages. Para todos. 

Kids Day at the Library is a monthly event, with a different program or activity each month. K-6th grader can learn from experts, play board games, learn basic coding, and other fun activities.

Join us at the Library for this hands-on workshop! Create your own mask while learning about masks from around the world and their significance. Feel free to bring your own masks and stories!

Would you like to learn to play chess? Would you like to improve your chess strategy and meet other players? Join us on the third Friday of the month from 2:00-4:30. School ages to seniors are welcome.

Join us on Fridays for topical documentaries, telenovelas, or television series.

Bring your bike, scooter, skateboard, or rollerblades for a day of fun and learn how to make a sweet, refreshing, sugar-free smoothie on a bicycle!

Join us at the Arroyo Grande Library to practice your reading with our trained therapy dogs.  The dogs will alternate but one will be at the library on select Wednesdays at 3:30.  For ages 4 and up.
