2. Make an appointment to bring your project file to the San Luis Obispo Library Children's department.

Try out SLO Symphony Instruments!

Violins, horns, percussion, and more: Kids, teens, and adults are invited to play a variety of instruments from the San Luis Obispo Symphony petting zoo menagerie. Learn about different types of instruments, how each one creates a unique sound, and how they are played.

Memory Lab: Preserve your photos and videotapes

Sign up for an orientation for our digital preservation studio! You'll be introduced to the basics of VHS digitization and magazine or photo scanning.

Attendance at an orientation is required before booking our do-it-yourself Memory Lab.

Storytime

Learning is fun at our lively Storytime! Join us for books, songs, and a lot of wiggling. All children are welcome

Read to a Dog

Kids are invited to practice reading with a gentle certified therapy dog. All abilities welcome.
